Due to circumstances this will be my final post.

Thank you to those who have left comments on my posts.

I need to concentrate on family at the moment but will continue to make cards along with doing other crafts too and hope one day to set up another blog when I have time to show all of the crafts that I have completed.

Much love to all who havc followed my all too infrequent posts.

Monday 9 May 2011

What a beautiful day we have had, the sun has been shining non stop with not a cloud in the sky.

I've also had some wonderful news...........our puppy has been born today.  We are going to be bringing home a little cocker spaniel in a few weeks time.  I am so excited and cannot wait!   It'll be a while before I can post any pictures.

It was my upline Monica's birthday last month and I made a card for her.  Monica always greets me with a big hug when we meet up and is always so upbeat and bubbly.

I got the idea for this card from the Mini Catalogue, it was actually shown as a scrapbook page but I thought it would make a lovely card.

I'm off to do some more crafting now so watch this space......

Happy crafting!!

I'm back!!!!

Hubby has had his back operation and is well on his way to recovery.

I have also bought myself a new camera and will be able to post many photos now.

A couple of weeks ago I attended training and one of the cards we made used Nature Walk which is in the new mini catalogue.  Now when I get together with my crafting ladies I like to show them how to make a card and matching gift box.  So this is what we made:

and close up:

If you would like to join in on the fun when we get together and craft, or would like to host a party yourself then just get in contact with me.

I will be making some more cards over the weekend and will post them here, so keep an eye out........yes I'm back and raring to go.

Enjoy the weekend.

Sunday 3 October 2010

It's been a couple of months since my last blog and I was so hoping to do much more.
Unfortunately, my hubbies back is in need of an operation which should take place in the next 2 to 3 months.  But to make matters worse I have fallen down a few steps and twisted my left knee and torn the ligaments in my right foot.  Boy am I a hobbling nightmare.  So I have a few days off of work which means that I can do some crafting.

Have you seen the new catalogue from Stampin' Up! you can click on the image to view........boy are there some beautiful things in there I've already spent a fortune.  I have already got a few bits and bobs to show my crafting buddies and have a craft class date for my ladies who love to get together.  If  anyone is interested in coming to my classes then please contact me on 01304  373913 or you can email me at hopgoodannette@yahoo.co.uk.  If you can't make it to my 'get togethers' then you can still place an order with me from the latest catalogue, just get in touch.

Will be in touch tomorrow, hopefully with a picture or two............if I can get my camera to work properly (long story).

Happy crafting.

Monday 17 May 2010

Good morning.  Well it's a beautiful day today, the sun is shining and I have a day to myself.  Hubby is out fishing and the children are at school and college...........bliss!

I have learned how to put photos on my blog now and will share with you a card that I designed for a sketch challenge.

Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Soft Suede and Rich Razzleberry cardstock, Crazy for Cupcakes Stampset, Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo and Soft Suede inks, Soft Suede dotty ribbon and the scalloped circle and 1 1/4" circle punches.

All products used are by Stampin' Up! and what's more.... they are the new colours that we were treated to early (we have a new set of colours coming up in our Autumn/Winter Catalogue which will be coming out in October).

I now have to tidy up my craft room and make a few more cards to share with you next time.

Have a great day.
